The Saint Sébastien chapel (16th century) located at the bottom of a valley, in a green setting, has retained all its charm. In place of the current chapel there was undoubtedly a Gallo-Roman place of worship. Furthermore, the Templars were certainly present on this site.

The inhabitants of Lamballe (25km) went on pilgrimage to pray to Saint Sebastian, healer of infectious diseases, the plague in particular.
This chapel is built of granite in the flamboyant gothic style with a renaissance influence. At the end of the 1930th century, the poorly maintained chapel was in poor condition; its degradation accelerated from 1928 despite its inclusion in the additional inventory of historical monuments in XNUMX. The current restoration was the work of volunteers gathered within the Association of Friends of the Saint Sébastien Chapel in Fréhel.
