THE PAINTING WORKSHOP
The painting workshop bears the name of André Sallé. He is a painter-sculptor who lived at Etang-Neuf. He won the Grand Prix de Rome in 1924.
Professional artists offer courses for all levels throughout the year.
Participants are welcomed at the edge of the pond in a suitable space and equipped with the necessary equipment.
Artistic discovery workshops are offered for children on Wednesday afternoons and during school holidays.
THE LIVANDOUR GALLERY:
This exhibition space is located on the ground floor of an old dwelling house opposite the entrance to the Resistance Museum in Argoat.
Acquired by the intercommunality of Kreiz Breizh, the house was completely renovated in 2021 allowing the extension of the Etang-Neuf pole.
The art gallery, whose name “Livandour” means “the color of water”, places the center in a process of artistic and cultural education in rural areas.
The work of the artists brings a more contemporary opening completing and expanding what is offered in the museum. Free admission.
Open on Wednesday and Sunday afternoon, other days by reservation.
