This "madennaise trip" is an invitation to discover the land of Saint-Maden, a commune in the Pays des Faluns, linked to the Rance in its river part.
Starting from the site of La Gravelle, the walk crosses old paths and small roads, discovering the bucolic landscapes and the old hamlets of the town.
Along the way, we will follow the banks of the old Rance and we will be able to see beautiful houses in gauge stone, characteristic of the Land of the Faluns. This name is due to the Sea of ​​Faluns, which bathed Brittany in the Miocene (- 15 M years) and which left a shell deposit called "faluns", used in architecture, as it retreated.
