ALAIN MAIRE presents “Escapade chez Le Corbusier”
Alain Maire is a relatively prolific amateur painter and touches everything.
After his retirement as a turbomachinery engineer he converted to painting
He was a pupil of MARTHA KOLODZIEJ naive painter from Krakow and François MARTIN at the fine arts of Le Havre.
His favorite painters are Utrillo, De Staël and Picasso;
He paints in acrylic on large format canvases with cheerful colors and a very recognizable style.
Since the Covid he has successfully tried his hand at ballpoint pen drawings on canson colored with markers
He resides 1/3 of the time in Plancoët, his main residence is in Le Havre, he remains attached to Montmartre (his childhood) and to Saint Cast (his childhood holidays from 1952)
