Pink sandstone vessel in an incomparable site. Transformed into a coastal defense fort between 1690 and 1715, the castle of La Roche Goyon remains above all a fortified castle. The 14th century defensive system is still in place.
Exceptional site and panorama over the bay of St Malo.
The walls, gatehouses, barbican, towers, dungeon, dungeon, oven to redden iron balls have passed through the centuries.
Bricole, guns, crossbows recall its military past.
Its chapel is dedicated to Saint-Michel.
Medieval garden, labyrinth and vegetable garden enhance the visit.
The castle is still inhabited. Private historical monument.

Open daily from April 1 to September 30.
Open every afternoon in October and during school holidays. Open on off-season weekends.

As every year, the castle organizes the Grandes Médiévales during the summer.
The castle is closed on December 25 and January 1.
The castle is closed annually from January 8 to February 10, 2024.

Ticketing only on site!

Large free outdoor car park - 800m on foot to access the castle.
Dogs allowed on a leash. The castle is partially accessible to people with reduced mobility and strollers (except dungeon, chapel, guardhouse)
