Enter the old forge of Saint-Malon-sur-Mel and dive right into the XNUMXth century. By visiting the former place of life and work of the Dugué couple, she grocer, he blacksmith, you will discover a perfectly preserved part of the past. Every Thursday in summer, in July and August, the place comes back to life with guided tours and live demonstrations by professional blacksmiths. In the heart of this pretty village, come and hear the resonance of iron on metal, as it once punctuated the lives of our ancestors.
The visit can be extended by a walk in the village of Saint-Malon-sur-mel to discover wrought iron works such as the iron man, the dragon or the metallith.
Opening dates 2024: Thursday afternoons July 11, 18, 25 and August 1, 8, 22 and 29, 2024. Exceptional opening on Friday August 16 (closed August 15). Visits at 14:30 p.m., 15:30 p.m. and 16:30 p.m.
