About us
Built at the end of the 15th century, at the request of the notables of Dinan, the Clock Tower testifies to the power of the Dinannaise bourgeoisie which emancipated itself at the end of the medieval period.
Raised to the rank of belfry by Anne de Bretagne, the tower was fitted with a bell in 1507.
On the ground floor, one of the oldest clock mechanisms in Europe.
43 meters high, the Clock Tower offers a unique 360° panorama of the medieval city.
Not accessible to people with reduced mobility and not recommended for people with walking difficulties or those who are afraid of heights.
Capacity limited to 19 people.
