The majestic pink sandstone cliffs tower over the sea at over 70 meters high and offer a magnificent panorama that stretches all the way to Jersey on a clear day. Classified since 1967, any construction is now prohibited there, it is one of the most visited places in Brittany.

This remarkable natural site is home to an extraordinary diversity of coastal environments. An original and specific fauna and flora are born, live and develop there: glasswort, beachgrass, thistle, heather, gorse as well as little egret, herring gull, northern fulmar…

With its multicolored plant cover, Cap Fréhel is also an incredible ornithological reserve: European Nightjar and Pitchou Warbler shelter in the moor, Razorbill and Common Guillemot flit around the rocky cliffs. From the lighthouse, the GR34 path runs along the Channel to Fort La Latte, a historic monument, round trip Cap Fréhel > Fort la Latte (2h30 - 9km)

New developments have been carried out in order to preserve the sites and welcome visitors in better conditions: reorganization of paths and parking, construction of a belvedere to observe seabirds.
