Do not miss the chapel of Vieux-Bourg, built on the tip of the goats, 40 meters above the sea, this chapel is the remains of the old parish church of Pléhérel. It is rich in 12 polychrome statues from the XNUMXth and XNUMXth centuries, a painted vault and old paintings.
Sables-d'Or-les-Pins
Sables-d'Or-les-Pins is a "health" resort like no other. Architecture of the 20s, wooded paths, and excessive ambitions make the history of the resort.

Just a few years before the start of the First World War, Roland Brouard, developer, discovered the magnificent site of the Sables-d'Or-les-Pins resort. He then dreamed of creating an avant-garde seaside resort dedicated mainly to leisure, well-being and nature. And, as if emerging from the sands, in the 20s, villas, hotels, casino, golf and little train replace the large dunes which have now disappeared. The climatic and tourist resort of Sables-d'Or-les-Pins was to be the rival of La Baule and Deauville.
But the crisis of 1929, automobile development and the climatic instability associated with a short season will lead to the bankruptcy of the project before it knows a second wind after the Second
World War.
Port a la Duc
Port à la Duc is a village at the mouth of the Frémur river at the bottom of the bay of La Fresnaye.
When passing Port à la Duc, the eye is irresistibly drawn to this bay with its mysterious aspects. This one presents thanks to the tides, a fascinating spectacle, allowing to observe the immense extent of the bouchots and the oyster beds as well as a very large number of birds, in particular from September to March (migratory birds, wintering).
