About us
The Canoe Kayak Club is located close to the Arguenon in the center of Plancoët. It offers paddle sports activities on several sites:
- the river Arguenon, from the Goupillière mill to Plancoët
- on Lac de Pléven, the water reservoir of the Ville Hatte dam
- on the maritime estuary of Plancoët to the Guildo at the mouth according to the tides
- at sea from Saint-Jacut-de-la-Mer, to Ile des Ebihens, or to Ile Agot, an ornithological reserve.
The club is open every day in summer, by reservation in the off-season, for introductory programs for advanced training, and rental (half-day formulas, courses).
It also organizes nautical excursions such as "the descent of the Arguenon" from Plancoët to the estuary or "the discovery of the islands".
The program of outings is online, on the club's website, from spring. It can also be found on Dinan Cap Fréhel Tourisme's leisure diary.
The general conditions of practice are as follows: know how to swim, be 8 years old for river activity and 12 years old at sea.
Appropriate clothing is strongly recommended for each practice: hydrophilic clothing, closed shoes or neoprene slippers, windbreaker and/or cap, sunscreen if necessary.
