Sables d'Or... It is sometimes enough to evoke the name of certain places to trigger the imagination and the desire to travel. At Sables d'Or, the magic of the name matches the splendor of the site: an immense beach of fine sand gilded by the sun, dunes blooming with blue thistles and pink bindweed, it is an estuary landscape of great beauty, in perpetual motion.
Formerly cultivated, today forgotten by men, the "mouth of Erquy" as it is called here, is a small paradise for birds and the flora of the maritime marshes.
