About us
Starting from the town of Pléven, this rural walk leads to the shores of Lake Arguenon then goes up along a stream to the Château de la Hunaudaye and its forest. The walk continues on small roads and paths, until you find the Arguenon and its meanders.
Beautiful views towards the lake are available to hikers during the walk, as well as the discovery of witnesses to history.
Along the way, take the time to visit the Château de la Hunaudaye, which presents an exhibition and an original entertainment program every year. At Ville Baudouin, the clog-maker museum presents the profession of clog-makers, their history, their sociology, their tools and their know-how, thanks to the passion of its creator, himself from a line of clog-makers.
Warning: vigilance along the Arguenon, parts of the path can be steep and slippery depending on the weather.
