Let's go for a round trip on the coastal path, in one of the most beautiful natural sites in Brittany. The coastal path, frequented by customs officers from the XNUMXth century for the surveillance of the coast, offers the pleasure of following the coast in its smallest crevices and arriving at the foot of Fort La Latte. The visit of Fort La Latte during the walk is essential to immerse yourself in the history of these coasts.

After a visit to the fort, where you can admire the 360° view of the horizon from the dungeon, the way back is this time in the direction of Cap Fréhel.

Framed to the west by the bay of Saint-Brieuc and to the east by the bay of Saint-Malo, the peninsula of Cap Fréhel juts out towards the sea like a stone vessel... The sea, sometimes abused by the combined action of wind and currents can become choppy, to the point of making it difficult for boats to cross the cape...

70 m high, its sandstone cliffs offer a magnificent panorama towards the harbor of Saint-Malo and sometimes, on a clear day, it is even possible to see the Jersey coast.

Warning: on this steep route, it is advisable to wear good walking shoes and not to approach the edge of the cliffs.
