Beautiful walk on the coastal path in the Grand Site de France "Cap d'Erquy - Cap Fréhel" with beautiful views of the Baie de la Fresnaye.
Starting from the small port of Saint-Géran, this route takes the coastal path (GR 34) along the bay of La Fresnaye then deviates from it to follow small country roads... The vast space of the bay leaves the areas dedicated to shellfish activities appear at low tide: oyster beds, bouchots... Along the way, stop off at Port Nieux, where cargo boats (wood, lime, coal...) and fishing boats once docked , who found shelter there from the westerly winds...
Not to be missed nearby: the discovery of Fort La Latte; a nature visit with the Grand Site Cap d'Erquy - Cap Fréhel.
