The Storytellers

This year it's decided, with our friends we're heading off to Brittany! But where are we going? What do we do ? There are so many things to see that it makes us dizzy! To help us, here is a program put together just for us!

Day 1
City Break in Dinan

A jump in time

In Dinan, we plunge into the medieval era from the first set of cobblestones. We get lost in its small streets and above all we look up to appreciate the typical architecture of these half-timbered houses. Impossible to miss a visit to the Château de Dinan and its ramparts, the most imposing in the region. The most daring will try to climb to the top of the Clock Tower but be careful, the bells ring every quarter of an hour!

The good idea:

go down towards the marina via the famous rue du Jerzual and take the time to push open the doors of the artists' and craftsmen's studios.

Dinan, a perfect starting point to combine architectural visits, good restaurants, small shops, gourmet addresses and festive places..

Day 2
Relaxation on the banks of the Rance

Soft pedal...

Let’s go back slowly along the Rance Valley…

Sometimes river, sometimes canal and maritime river, the Rance offers a variety of landscapes that stretch from north to south of the Dinan-Cap Fréhel destination. Bordered by multiple locks (Léhon, Evran, Pont-Perrin, etc.) and numerous ports, it is the perfect place to stop for a natural and soothing break.

Along this preserved estuary, many activities are available to us: hiking, cycling, but also electric boat rides and water activities.

Day 3 and 4
Heading to Fréhel

The Call of the Sea

The desire to see the sea catches up with us. Today is blowing a wind of freedom in us, and our hiking shoes want to try the pink sandstone at Cap Fréhel!

Walk or dream...

Warm as the Breizh, we motivate ourselves for a beautiful hike of almost 5 hours at Cap Fréhel. Or we opt for the famous coastal footpath, the GR34, between Cap Fréhel and Fort La Latte (2h15 A/R).

Nearby, listed as a Historic Monument, Fort La Latte dominates the bay of La Fresnaye and is one of the most famous Breton fortified castles. Drawbridge, walls, dungeon, dungeons, war machines and medieval gardens have survived the centuries and continue to amaze us.

Don't miss Sables-d'Or-les-Pins, the dunes of the Sahara made in Brittany!

Day 5 and 6

Relaxation under the crustacean coconut palms!

Time for pleasure, relaxation, fanning your toes in the fine sand of our magnificent beaches!

Here we have something to satisfy all our desires: beaches to relax in the sun, waves to jump in with laughter, secret shore fishing spots, and unlimited sea views to enjoy our favorite ice cream!

Head to Saint-Cast-le-Guildo, the ideal resort for a stay on the Emerald Coast, which owes its name to the beauty and color of the sea! This peninsula offers 7 fine sandy beaches, all different from each other. In terms of architecture, you'll be amazed by the villas located at the Pointe de la Garde, which overlooks the main beach and Pen-Guen beach. As for walking, we love the Mielles district and the Chemin du Soleil Levant which connects the shopping district to the port by a pedestrian link.

WHAT if we discovered a paradise archipelago, accessible on foot only at low tide? Direction Saint-Jacut-de-la-Mer, an old authentic fishing village which made its living from ray and mackerel fishing. Saint-Jacut-de-la-Mer is called the peninsula of 11 beaches… which gives you the choice to find “the” one…

When the tide goes out, we imagine a small sandbank that reveals itself and takes us to paradise on earth: the Ebihens archipelago. There, you feel like you're on the other side of the globe. It’s a bit like our Seychelles. We take advantage of the tide to discover its wild and green side against the backdrop of the emerald-colored sea... and we think about coming back a little before the sea starts to rise!
