Family reunion in Saint-Cast-le-Guildo
Because family moments are precious, everyone is ready for a superb day in Saint-Cast-le-Guildo, the charming peninsula of the Emerald Coast
Morning: hike with a view of the tip of Saint-Cast
An ideal hike of 2 hours (7km) to discover the seaside resort. From the Grande Plage, you reach the marina by the pedestrian link and then enjoy a magnificent view of Fort La Latte, the small secret coves and the bay of La Fresnaye from the GR34. The return is via the Isle district and its pretty typical houses. And why not end the morning with a short dip in the sea followed by lunch on the terrace facing the blue ocean?
Afternoon: activities for all tastes
The seaside resort of Saint-Cast-le-Guildo offers a wide choice of activities to delight young and old, families and friends! We are inspired by suggestions for activities and above all we have fun!
To admire the Emerald Coast from the sea, reserve an owl boat trip. Several routes are possible: to Cap Fréhel and Fort La Latte, to the island of Ebihens or to Dinard and Saint-Malo.
Or we opt for a more sporty activity and challenge the parents: acrobatic course in the trees, bike rides, introduction to 18-hole golf course... and water activities such as giant paddle boarding, canoeing or traditional sailing.
And we want more: Segway ride on the boulevard de la mer, mini-golf, swimming, walking in the water or horseback riding...
We follow the guide for a 100% Nature outing! Because we love nature and we respect it, we learn about responsible fishing on foot, we discover the culture of oysters and mussels or even the history of the seaside resort.
As a family, we opt for the treasure hunt, "Alfred's Treasure". With our investigator's backpack, our maps and our puzzle sheets, it's up to us to find the code to the treasure!
As a self-respecting gourmand, we don't miss a gourmet break, on the terrace or in the tea rooms, while enjoying a delicious artisanal ice cream. These simple little pleasures are sure to delight the whole family!
And we end our day by strolling through the streets of the Quartier des Mielles, to find souvenirs made in Saint-Cast, taste local specialties like oysters or smoked fish, then enjoy the setting sun while sipping a drink on the terrace and soaking up the castine atmosphere.
