🌿 1 - Nature you will preserve

Steep cliffs, dune massifs, enchanted valleys and turquoise waters as far as the eye can see: welcome to Dinan-Cap Fréhel! With such natural wealth, Dinan-Cap Fréhel has not finished making the airlines green with envy. No need to cross the globe, all the dream landscapes are here, in the heart of Brittany! 📍

But who says unique panoramas, also says sensitive natural spaces. Many Natura 2000 classified sites and one labeled site Grand Site of France adopt an approach of nature preservation while guaranteeing a tourist experience of the highest quality.

To continue to marvel at the generosity of flora and bird sanctuaries in the region, let's apply the everyday gestures used at home, also in the Dinan-Cap Fréhel destination (and everywhere else)!

Sorting and collecting waste, limiting water consumption, turning off lights… It doesn't take much to considerably improve your quality of life, and that of the planet. For budding walkers, the hiker's charter explains to you all the good reflexes to adopt on your way, or how to trudge smarter! 😉

🧘 2 - In “slow” mode you will travel

To come to Dinan, Saint-Cast le Guildo or even on the peninsula of Fréhel!

We don't always have the “car” reflex, in Dinan-Cap Fréhel we favor eco-mobility: train, bus, boat... From the stations of Saint-Malo, Lamballe, Dinan and Saint-Brieuc, the Breton network Breizh'Go deployed by the Brittany Region sets up bus connections to allow you to reach the destination. Only one condition: check if your trip requires a reservation in advance! 🚉

Port Saint-Cast-Le-Guildo

By boat, the pretty maintained port of Saint-Cast-le-Guildo (certified Environment Clean Ports) allows you to reach the coast while those of Dinan and Plouër return to the banks of the Rance. Here, no wrong answer: both routes offer breathtaking views of the cliffs or the picturesque villages made in Breizh. Hoist high! ⚓

To get around during your stay

Once there, take advantage of the Dinamo summer shuttles to roam from site to site. After the medieval town of Dinan, visit Cap Fréhel, Sables-d'Or-les-Pins or stop off at Bétineuc pond!

What we love about Dinan-Cap Fréhel is the hospitality and friendliness of its inhabitants. Some engaged hosts will also be able to advise you on the best way to get to them. You can go there with your eyes closed. 😌

All aboard:

The corsair city of Saint-Malo can be easily visited on foot from the port of Dinan (April to September) or Saint-Cast-le Guildo (only in July and August). My pleasure. 😉 Pssst: The tourist office makes reservations!

Reach Saint-Malo from Dinard by opting for the water taxi (very practical, especially in summer)! The captain, shares with you his best anecdotes of sailors on the destination! Hoist high!

A bicycle !

Practical and ecological, cycling is a vacationer's best friend! Bike rental, guided walks on the coast, on the Vélomaritime or on the towpath along the Rance via the EV2 and EV3... Discover all our offers of cycle routes and greenways to take full advantage of it! 🚲

🤝 4 - Committed actors you will discover

Labels and eco-responsible charter

Whether they are accommodation providers, restaurants or leisure providers, all the players in the region are committed to their mission: to preserve the environment. This is the case for the future Rance Valley Regional Park - Emerald Heart which wishes, through the redevelopment of the territory, “to forge more links with the territory, nature, culture and between the inhabitants”.

By favoring service providers committed to the eco-responsible charter of the destination or labeled Green Key, European Ecolabel and more locally FairBreizh, you participate in a more respectful tourism! And that is priceless ! 🤗

Local producers

In the same logic, favoring a more local consumption becomes essential. And what could be better than starting the day with the sweet scent of fruits and vegetables from the vegetable garden? Head to the market to stock up on vitamin C, and more! Fish and shellfish, dairy products, and sausage patties… Come and meet those who cultivate with love. ❤️

🛍️ Want to shop? Never mind ! Our artisans have talent ! No need to venture 1 hour away, our local merchants have everything you need to pamper you. And as a bonus, it's often local. Bingo!
