*The Coriosolites, KÉSAKO? 🤓 Well, that's simply the name given to this population! These are the people of Gaul who settled in the departments of Côtes-d'Armor, Ille-et-Vilaine and Morbihan.

INFORMATION FOR STÉPHANE BERN: From 58 to 51/50 BC, Julius Caesar undertakes a war of conquest of France (formerly Gaul) which will lead to the colonization of the Roman Republican throughout France. The Emperor Augustus, his adopted son, then organized France into several provinces, themselves divided into districts. Each territory erects its capital on the map. For the Coriosolites, it will be Corseul! Over the years, its population density is estimated at around 5 inhabitants. Maybe your ancestors, who knows?
