International Festival of Fashion Designers
The city of Dinan rolls out the red carpet for the International Festival of Young Fashion Designers, from October 27 to 29, 2023.
10 budding creators
Le International Festival of Young Fashion Designers presents, for its 27th edition, a selection of 10 creators, recent graduates or who have already created their brand and who will be candidates for the Grand Prix Dinan.
For this 2023 edition, the model imposed for creators is the striped sailor top revisited.
Fashion on the street
The festival sets up the Like Journey system : each of the 10 competing designers has a window belonging to a boutique in the town of Dinan. Each silhouette is then staged so that the public votes on social networks for their favorite outfit. The most popular receives the Dinan Territory Retailer/General Public Price.
The Festival is also conducive to professional exchanges and therefore reiterates a moment of debate between fashion market specialists, during a round table. Open to the general public, it will take place in the Salle Charles Duclos, at Dinan Town Hall.
Still accessible to the general public, the 10 collections of the creators will be exhibited in their worlds, on stands installed within the Théâtre des Jacobins, from Friday. A selection of 2023 creations will parade on Saturday afternoon, outdoors: Esplanade de la Fraternité, Place Saint Sauveur and on the Parvis du Théâtre des Jacobins. At the Théâtre des Jacobins, all of the creations will be presented during the official inauguration of the Festival, followed by the presentation of the 2023 Dinan Prize, during the Gala evening.

competition at the Théâtre des Jacobins.
16 a.m. - 30 p.m.: round table in the Charles Duclos room of Dinan Town Hall. open to the public and hosted by
Muriel Piaser. Theme: Environmental transition and digitalization, the new paradigms of fashion creation.

19h30: cocktail-dinner at PEUGEOT GEMY, 14 rue des Prunus in Dinan (by invitation)
10:30 pm : opening to the public of the exhibition of the collections of the 10 competing designers at the Théâtre des Jacobins
11:30 pm : signing of Nelly Rodi's book "A few seasons in advance" at the Théâtre des Jacobins
