Dinan Short Film Festival
The Dinan Films Courts Festival is back from November 15 to 19, 2023 for its 6th edition.
1st cinematographic event in Côtes-d’Armor
Every year, and since 2017, the “Court vers le Large” association organizes, in the heart of the medieval city of Dinan, the Dinan Short Film Festival, a film festival dedicated to French-speaking short films and its talents.
For its 6th edition, the festival is back from 15 TO 19 NOVEMBER 2023 with 35 films in competition and highlights French-speaking Belgian cinema in partnership with the Center Wallonie Bruxelles Paris.
The festival will take place from November 15 to 17 in the Émeraude Cinéma cinema in Dinan and from November 18 to 19 at the Théâtre des Jacobins with a program adapted to everyone: schoolchildren, cinema professionals, newbies, enthusiasts or even the curious!
Like previous editions, sessions dedicated to schools will be on the program with an “Emergence Competition” aimed at middle and high school students. New this year, a “Panorama Animated Films” will be dedicated to Cycle 3. The festival will also invest simultaneously Émeraude Cinemas La Richardais.
For the general public, the “National Competition” will take place his return to Émeraude Cinema Dinan with 4 to 5 short films per session.
Also note, the “Women & Cinema” round table which will be held on Saturday November 17 at 10:15 a.m. at the Dinan Municipal Library and which will address the benefits of a more egalitarian cinema. A discussion hosted by the Femmes & Cinéma association (free entry).
From November 18 to 19 at the Théâtre des JacobinsTwo exceptional days of competitions will take place in the magnificent Jacobins theater in Dinan! The winners will be revealed Sunday at 17:30 p.m. during the Closing Ceremony.
